Born in Fougères, Emmanuel de la Villéon (1858-1944) drew his principal inspiration from the countryside of Brittany, his homeland. The museum, located in a 16C building with a porch and wood and granite pillars, is mainly devoted to his work (canvasses, drawings and watercolours).
