The basilica is topped by a wonderful spire, and has an unusual square shape. The Cross Chapel, whose south wall extends the flat chevet, has a handsome porch. Outside, the Saläun Fountain, that pilgrims drink from, is set against the chevet wall. The 15C granite jube is remarkable. Some beautiful 19C roses adorn the Cross Chapel and apse. The statue of Our Lady of Folgöet dates from the 15C.
