The Fine Arts Museum in Quimper displays a collection of paintings from the 14C to the present day, including the Northern European, Italian and French Schools. Several rooms are dedicated to regional works (paintings and sculptures), including one devoted to Max Jacob, who was born and raised in Quimper. His collection includes souvenirs, documents and gouaches, as well as a series of portraits. Note also the 27m-long fresco by the St-Malo artist Jean-Julien Lemordant.
