Roscoff : Michelin's recommendations
Roscoff is a popular seaside resort, a centre of medical excellence and a busy port with ferries running to Plymouth and Cork. Fishing and pleasure boats moor behind two jetties on the other side of the old ramparts, while a breakwater protects the harbour, providing deep-water anchorage for the ferries. An oceanographic and biological research laboratory has been established here by the University of Paris and the National Scientific Research Centre.
