An agglomeration of three different towns, this seaside resort has a long history, as visitors will note from the attractive villas in the Mielles quarter. St-Cast-Le-Guildo still retains its charming little fishing harbour. There are also has seven beaches, two of them expanses of fine sand: the Grande Plage and Pen-Guen. La Frênaye and La Pissotte nestle in a wilder setting. Cast is the Breton version of the name Cadoc (a popular Welsh saint).
