Two traditional houses retrace life at Ouessant throughout a series of collections: costumes, farming and household tools, and the geology of the isle. One of the houses exhibits the characteristic isle's inner lay out and has kept the typical furniture made from wood recovered from shipwrecks and painted blue. This colour symbolises the Virgin's protection.
