Stiff lighthouse was built by Vauban in 1695. It is made up of two towers which are side by side. One of them has the staircase (126 steps) and the other, three small bedrooms, one on top of the other. Its light extends approximately 50 km thanks to a 1000 W halogen lamp, with a power of 600 000 candelas. One can appreciate the broad view of the islands, the continent, of the Vierge Lighthouse situated at Raz. Near this lighthouse, there is a radar tower (140 m) overseeing the sea route.
