This feudal castle built of granite is an interesting illustration of early 15C military architecture. It has retained three sturdy corner towers with machicolations. A staircase leads to the upper floors, whose vast rooms, windows with deep embrasures and stone benches, rampart walk and lookout tower help transport visitors back into the military atmosphere of yesteryear.
