Pros
Formule très originale avec, pour les vins d'Arbois et particulièrement les vins naturels, une place de choix ! Cuisine classique mais soignée, produits frais et bios, accueil et service professionnels. Le coq au vin jaune, c'est à La Balance qu'il faut le déguster...
Cons
Pour essayer les nombreux accords mets et vins, il faut aller à plusieurs reprises dans l'établissement !

Pros
a very warm, friendly and efficient service. All four of us had the chef's Improvisation menu which was an amazing seasonal eight course tasting menu for 56 euro, we also took the accomanying wines from Jura (an extra 20 euro each for the non-drivers) that complemented the food exceptionally well. Our driver took a similarly matched selection of fruit juices with her meal, another success. Our meal lasted over four hours and the service was superb throughout. Wonderful food, great service and a really enjoyable experience.
Cons
The menu was very well paced and balaced but with one exception. Our fifth course was Coq au vin Jeune, a delicious local dish that included a full chicken, it was truly delicious but the size overwhelmed us as part of the eight course Improvisation menu.
