Église Saint-Just Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
It is worth making the trip to see the bell tower of this priory church (12C-13C): it dominates the town from 60m up (209 steps to climb), and culminates in a bulbous dome - these are common in Comté - and a bell tower with a chiming clock. The aisles of the church are separated from the narrow nave by a fine series of semi-circular arcades and pillars. Very fine Virgin and Child (late 14C) to the left. The carved wood pulpit dates from 1717 and the chancel has a flat chevet and a large bay featuring the 12 apostles. The organ (1728) was restored in 1985 and is a designated Monument Historique.
