Baume-les-Messieurs
: Michelin's recommendations
Home since the 9C to the abbey which made it famous, Beaume-les-Messieurs lies in a spectacular and grandiose setting at the crossroads of three valleys, which includes the magnificent Baume cirque. Today, the church and most of the abbey buildings can still be admired. The village, located slightly below the abbey, is also well preserved, straddling the Seille river amid an imposing rocky landscape.
