The museum is composed of prehistory, Gallo-Roman and medieval archeology, regional ethnography and painting and ceramic sections. It is situated in the former 17C Ursulines convent. Paintings include works by Le Brun, Philippe de Champaigne, Greuze (17C), Corot, Puvis de Chavannes (19C) and Gleizes (20C).
