Located at the confluence of the Lizaine and the Allan rivers, this castle, which already existed in the 10C, was later modified at regular intervals. Today, it is a mix of styles, including the 15C Henriette tower, the 16C Frédéric tower, and the 18C main building. Inside, the Musée du Château de Montbéliard relates the history of the Pays de Montbéliard from prehistoric times. Don’t miss the Galerie d’Histoire Naturelle Cuvier. The Logis des Gentilshommes is adorned with an elegant fluted gable by Schickhardt.
