A church adjoining a fortress forms a harmonious group. This 15C building was a veritable watchtower, its crenellated fortifications, loopholes and watchpath emphasising this defensive aspect. The bell-tower, destroyed during the revolution, was rebuilt during the Empire period. Inside is a polychrome wooden statue representing the patron saint of Pérouges, St George.
