Established in 1968, this park to the south of Lake Bourdon has 400ha of woodland, meadows and ponds crossed by around 100km of footpaths. Its role is to maintain this habitat for over 400 large animals living here in their wild state. Visitors on foot or horseback can see herds of deer in their natural surroundings. In huge enclosures are European bison, wild boar and Corsican mouflons. The 15 August Fête de la Forêt Sauvage will be of interest to country sports enthusiasts.
