This is the highest peak (1 545m) in this range that dominates the Valserine valley to the west. It is a little arduous to get here, but the panoramic views are spectacularly beautiful and take in the length of the Valserine valley. To the east, the Jura Mountains stand against the horizon; in front of you stands the Roche Franche, on the left, the Reculet, then the Crêt de la Neige. On the right, beyond the Sac Pass, you can make out the Grand Crêt d'Eau… and in the distance, Mont Blanc. Towards the west, the view stretches over the secondary ranges and the Jura's high plateaux.
