This museum located in a former polisher's turns the spotlight on the illustrious past of Montéchéroux. The village has focused on ironwork since the 16C and found its fortune in 1790 when it began to specialise in the production of watch-making tools. Later, it also supplied dentists, electricians, cobblers and other professionals. The museum has a collection of models of hammers, vices, and a table showing the pliers that were awarded the bronze medal at the 1889 World Fair.
