Autoire : Michelin's recommendations

Once a favourite retreat among the well-to-do citizens of St-Céré, and understandably so on account of its magnificent location at the threshold of a natural amphitheatre. Autoire’s typical regional character is evident in its streets lined with half-timbered houses, corbelled old buildings, and residences of the gentry (Manoir Laroque-Delprat, Château de la Roque-Maynard and Château de Busquelles). Near the Church of St Pierre with its pretty Romanesque apse is a terrace offering a fine view.
