This Protestant fortress consists of two large main buildings at right angles to each other, flanked by round towers and facing an internal courtyard enclosed by a crescent-shaped wall. Partly demolished by Marshal Monluc’s troops in 1598, the château was restored in the 19C by the family of Charles de Foucauld.
