The town's fortifications have not entirely disappeared - you will see the remains in the bases of the houses during this walk which will lead through a quiet quarter of the town.Beautiful private buildings from the 12th and 15th C. The Le breakneck passage (George Sand Staircase) will lead you to Rue de la Porte-Jaune (a beautiful view of the cathedral spires).
