Brive-la-Gaillarde : Michelin's recommendations

Situated on the crossroads of the Bas-Limousin and the high plateaus of Quercy, this is an important railway junction that has become the business capital of the area. Its main industries are food canning plants that take in the fruit and vegetables from all around. Land of rugby and foie gras, Brive knows what «good living» means. The old quarter is attractive with the warm colours of the beige, stepped facades and the blue hued roofs.
