The Maison de Roaldes is known as Henry IV’s house because the King of Navarre is said to have stayed here during the siege of 1580. Built at the end of the 15C and restored in 1912, it is named after a wealthy family from the Quercy. The rooms, reached via a spiral staircase, feature beautiful carved fireplaces decorated with the Quercy rose and pollarded tree.
