The finest feature of this 12C Romanesque church is the tympanum of the doorway, on which clear and very structured scenes are depicted. The overall rigidity is disrupted only by Christ in a mandorla (almond-shaped aureole). He is shown in majesty surrounded by the symbols of the four Evangelists. It is considered one of the most beautiful examples of a Romanesque tympanum and closely rivals those of Moissac, Collonges and Cahors.
