This small castle, topped with imposing towers and bartizan turrets and decorated with mullioned windows, is typical of the late 16C architecture. It was actually built in 1583. Its watchtower and loopholes were used for defensive purposes and add an original feature to this small castle. The owner was Gédéon of Vassinhac, lord of Collonges and governing captain of the viscounty of Turenne.
