Curemonte
: Michelin's recommendations
Thanks to its dominant position, the ramparts, proud castles and tiled-roofed aristocratic residences of this medieval jewel can be seen from afar. It was here during the Second World War that Colette wrote his famous Journal à rebours. Within its ramparts, visitors will find an exceptional group of three castles (14C-16C). From the viewpoint it is possible to look out over the village to the wooded valleys beyond.
