Loubressac : Michelin's recommendations

The fortified village of Loubressac, perched on a rocky peak, looks out over one of the most harmonious landscapes of the Dordogne, with views of the Bave valley, St-Cère, the châteaux of Castelnau and Montal, and the foothills of the Massif Central. Stroll along its narrow winding roads lined by houses with brown tiled roofs to the 15C-17C château, which occupies a remarkable site at the end of the rocky outcrop. The fortified gate and the guardhouse are also worthy of note.
