St-Étienne-de-la-Cité church Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
The church, built in the 12C but ruined in 1577 by the Protestants, is famous for its two cupolas, remains of the early church. The first is very archaic and is built directly on two large joinsts and two lateral arches that serve as formerets. In the second cupola, built a half a century later, the formerets are detached from the walls, and the lateral gangway is higher. There is an impressive 17C oak retable.
