This huge fortress-like building perched at the top of the cliff once housed the more important pilgrims to Rocamadour. Built in the 14C, the former bishops’ palace (ancien palais des évêques) was restored in the 19C by a pupil of Viollet-le-Duc. It is now home to the Musée d’Art Sacré Francis-Poulenc.
