Built on a hill overlooking the Dordogne, Fénelon Castle, whose foundations date back to the 14C and main buildings to the 17C, has regained its past glory. Admire its three surrounding walls, its lauze (stone slabs)-covered residential buildings and towers, as well as the beautiful double staircase. The interior illustrates the history of furniture from the Middle Ages to the Empire period. Note in particular the fine collection of weapons and the tapestries evoking Fénelon's work. An important permanent exhibition is devoted to him.
