The main building of this 16C Renaissance château on a rocky spur is flanked by a large round tower and an elegant terrace overlooking the Vézère. The main courtyard is accessed via a fixed bridge and a defensive gatehouse. The tour of the exterior, which includes a video, leads to the gardens. The chateau interior is furnished in period style (15C-17C), as it would have been during the time of Jean II de Losse, tutor of King Henri IV and Governor of Guyenne, who once lived here.
