In this beautiful spot, over 16ha of landscaped grounds centred on a 15C-17C estate are the backdrop for a constantly updated collection of modern sculpture and installations, some hanging from trees, some floating on water, all blending nicely into the scenery. The more fragile works are on show inside the castle and its outbuildings. Visitors walking round will note the unexpected sequence of six separate gardens.
