These caves, discovered in 2000 by Angel Caballero, consist of galleries hollowed out of the yellow limestone by the sea. The tour starts in the lower gallery with a presentation of the different layers of sediment and moves into the upper gallery which houses classic concretions (stalactites and stalagmites) as well as an exceptional number of helictites formed by capillary forces. Some are crystalline and others an orangey colour caused by iron oxide.
