Roman Town of Jublains Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Jublains was founded by the Romans on the site of an ancient Gaulish sanctuary. The usual monuments of a Roman town can be seen: theatre, vast temple (65 AD) and public baths. The latter, which are well preserved, include the cold pool (frigidarium), the warm room (tepidarium) and the steam room (laconicum). The site also includes the main building (200 AD), with its multiple water supply (well and water tanks) and the Musée départemental d'archéologie (Regional Archaeological Museum).
