Aix has preserved a wide selection of remains from the period when, called the Aquae Gratianae it attracted Roman patients. At the heart of what you could call a «Roman resort» is this 9 m high arch, erected in memory of members of the gens Pompeia by a certain Lucius Pompeius Campanus.
