Bequeathed by Doctor Faure in 1942, this remarkable collection of paintings and sculptures represents the impressionist school particularly well. On display, works by Degas, Pissarro, Sisley, Cézanne and Vuillard follow the precursors of impressionism, Corot, Jongkind and Boudin. Sculpture-wise, there are works by Carpeaux and Rodin. On the top floor objects recall Lamartines' stay here.
