Amongst the Italian works which are the strength of this museum, you will find some of the early works of the artists of Siena (Bartolo di Fedi) some Renaissance paintings (the famous Portrait of a young man attributed to Paolo Uccello) and numerous works from the 17 and 18 C. A room devoted to the 19 C allows you to cross between neo-classicism and realism. There are small rooms dedicated to still life, to the northern schools and to regional painting.
