The Chamonix ski area, the most amazing in Haute-Savoie, is spread out over the massifs of Brévent and the Midi Needle (Chamonix), La Flégère (Les Praz), the Grand Monnets (Argentière), and La Balme (Le Tour). A shuttle bus service links these. Less experienced skiers will appreciate the La Balme sector. More hardened skiers should not miss the exceptional Vallée Blanche (White Valley) with the 20 kilometre descent.
