The museum was founded by the watercolour artist, Paul Martin, a painter of the Provençal School. Old collections with a wealth of Italian and Dutch paintings (portraits by Frans Pourbus). An added bonus is the collection of 200 scientific instruments dating from the 19C, including the superb cosmographic clock.
