The concretions of a waterfall turned to stone and pathways, one of which has been laid out by land-art specialist Andy Goldsworthy, lead to this residence which brings an artist's vision face to face with natural elements (an astonishing Geological Imagery section, combining giant ammonites with paintings by Georges Autard). The region's geological history is represented in detail: fossils, 3-D objects and films; you will meet a 4.5m ichthyosaur and see the last living fossils in an aquarium.
