Bormes-les-Mimosas : Michelin's recommendations

In an enchanting site on the edge of the Dom forest and close to the sea, Bormes-les-Mimosas is a veritable treat for the senses and conducive to indolence. Its 17km of beaches stretch from Le Lavandou to Brégançon cove, and the French president’s summer residence can be glimpsed from La Favière beach. Eucalyptus, cypresses, oleanders, anthemis and especially mimosa lend their scents to this old medieval village clinging in tiers to the Maures mountainside. Best visited in February for the procession of mimosa floats.
