The castle, built in the 12C and restored in the 17C, has a variety of architectural influences: Saracen, 14C Tuscan and Renaissance. It also houses two museums. The Musée historique (historical museum) exhibits medieval works of art, a collection of ancient weapons and two major paintings: a 1500 panel (Saint Ursule) and a Saint Sébastien du Greco in polychrome wood. The Musée des Arts Décoratifs et de la Modernité (decorative arts and modernity) boasts collections of furniture from 1920-1930. Take a look at the terrasse d'honneur by Le Nôtre.
