For a long time, this was the local tanners’ square. Today it features an elegant fountain with water splashing down three basins. On the north side, the Hôtel Isnard, built in 1781, has a beautiful door and a pretty wrought-iron balcony running the width of the façade at first-floor level. A colourful flower and vegetable market is held in the square every morning in the shade of the ancient nettle trees.
