Grimaud is a typical perched village with its ancient Provençal houses set high up in the mountains. You can learn more about its history at the Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires. The Église St-Michel, a Romanesque church, is also worth a visit for its 19C interior frescoes. Ruins of the feudal castle ramparts (11C), lovely view over the Maures and Port Grimaud, a pastiche of a lakeside village that was built in the 1960s.
