The main attraction of the Oceanographic Museum is the spectacular aquarium, which houses 6 000 specimens. The highlight here is the “lagoon”, an incredible reconstruction of a coral reef inhabited by large marine predators. Other interesting sections of the museum include the applied oceanography room, the Albert 1 whale boat, and the section on zoological oceanography, with its extensive display of cetacean skeletons.
