The archaeological museum contains bronzes and ceramics illustrating the major Mediterranean civilisations and a magnificent mask of Silenus. The region’s Ligurian and Roman history is shown through an archaic statuette of the warrior of Mount Bégo, tools from oppida, milestones from the Via Julia Augusta and coins. There are also funerary objects like steles and sarcophagi and an Early Christian collection.
