Upper coastal road Highly Recommended Highly Recommended Highly Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

The Grande Corniche is the highest coastal road between Nice and Menton. Built on the orders of Napoleon, it follows part of the old Roman road Via Julia Augusta. Its panoramic views are unforgettable, especially from Le Vistaero restaurant and Belvédère d’Èze viewpoint. You can also stop on the way to wander around the narrow streets of the charming hilltop village of Roquebrune, go walking on Cap Martin peninsula and visit the Roman remains at La Turbie.
