This 12C church with a single nave was built in Provençal Romanesque style on the foundations of a basilic-style building. The watchtower, which replaced one of the absidioles, is reminiscent of the Templars’ military constructions. A red-sandstone monolith, formerly a pagan altar, supports the altar stone of a side chapel. In August, fishermen carry the bust of St Peter in a procession that goes to the rock known as "Sea Lion".
