The magnificent Marius-Escartefigue Corniche (coast road) provides the best overall view of Toulon’s harbours: the little harbour between Mourillon and La Seyne, the big harbour circumscribed to the south by the St-Mandrier Peninsula, and to the east by Cape Carqueiranne; further still, the Gulf of Giens and Giens Peninsula. Not to mention the old town, the port and the suburbs flanking the mountain.
