With its four round pepper-pot towers, Vallauris castle, rebuilt in the 16C, is one of the few examples of Renaissance architecture in Provence. The castle was once owned by the monks of the Lérins islands (the 12C chapel can still be seen) and now houses three museums: the Musée National “La Guerre et la Paix”, the Musée Magnelli and the Musée de la Céramique.
