The coast along the harbour is occupied to a great extent by the naval air station and the schools for the Navy mechanics and Seals, a military domain that is closed off from the road by a wall. The beaches and residential areas are located on the side facing the sea. Le Creux Saint-Georges has a pretty little harbour. At the entrance to St-Mandrier-sur-Mer, a steep road on the right leads up to a small cemetery with a panorama stretching out to Toulon, Cap Sicié and the Iles d’Hyères.
